This is a self-guided mural tour through St. Clair Superior, which is a historic neighborhood on Cleveland’s east side, located just east of downtown. If you’re an art enthusiast or looking for new murals to explore, this guide is for you, featuring over ten large-scale works to discover.
St. Clair Superior Development Corporation developed a public art guide to its neighborhood: more than thirty art murals and installations spread from St. Clair to Superior. There’s a lot to see in one afternoon.
So our list is one piece of it. 11 stops, walkable in an hour to an hour and a half, so you can pick this route up mid-way, break off wherever you like, or use it as a starting point and keep going into the rest of the guide.
The St. Clair Avenue murals, east to west
1. “The Blossom Wall” by Louise Jones (Ouizi)

Location: E. 72nd St at train overpass
This 1,400-foot mural contains grand, realistic flowers, plants, and insects found around the neighborhood and Lake Erie.
2. “The Deep End of Lake Erie” by Louise Jones (Ouizi)
Artist: Louise Jones (Ouizi)
Location: E. 72nd St at i90 overpass
Deep End is a beautiful aquatic painting that’s filled with a variety of fish species and plants native to Lake Erie.
3. “Welcome to St. Clair Superior” by Dayzwhun

Location: 7121 St. Clair Avenue
A bright, colorful community mural, featuring the neighborhood name.
4. “Birds in Bloom” by Dayzwhun
Artist: Dayzwhun
Location: 6510 St. Clair Avenue
Giant cardinals and blue jays are sitting on branches, giving a tribute to Northeast Ohio’s native bird species.
5. “From St Clair with Love” by Aaron D. Williams (Aawful Aaron)

Drawing inspiration from the neighborhood, this piece contains themes of unity, resilience, and collaboration. It’s right across from the “Birds in Bloom” mural, allowing you to see both at once.
6. “Hope Sketch” by Daniella Rivi Uva

Location: 6517 St. Clair Avenue
A geometric mural containing beautiful, bold shapes and patterns. It includes messages from community members about what they like about their neighborhood and brief descriptions of themselves.
7. “Emergence” by Kasumi

Location: 6225 St. Clair Avenue
The patterned mural draws from folk traditions, combining diverse cultural histories of the neighborhood’s residents. The artist honored overlooked stories in a bold, contemporary form.
8. “Where Good Things Are Happening” by Lisa Quine
Artist: Lisa Quine
Location: E 47th and St. Clair Avenue
Painted on the DayGlo building, home of the company that manufactures daylight fluorescent pigment. Quine’s landscape design uses vivid neon hues.
9. “Central Market” by Dayzwhun

Location: 4058 St. Clair Avenue
This mural celebrates a century of Kocian Meats and references the old Central Market, where the family business began.
10. “Koi for Mike” by Dayzwhun
Artist: Dayzwhun
Location: 4115 St. Clair Avenue
This koi piece is mid-swim with a gorgeous, bold, saturated palette.
11. “Welcome Home” by Jordan Wong
Artist: Jordan Wong
Location: 3951 St. Clair Avenue NE
Located on the side of Siam Café, marking the western gateway into AsiaTown. Wong developed the concept with the café’s owners, drawing on different elements and meanings. At night, this installation is brightly illuminated.
