What could be more silly than gathering in a bar full of friendly faces for an adult spelling bee?! We saw this idea making the rounds online amongst friend groups and thought "now THAT is an event we need to host!" Join us for the First Brewnuts Adult Spelling Bee! Don't worry, this is all in good fun and we have our own rules for this Bee, our categories for hints (should you be stumped) won't be the traditional "language of origin" BS, we'll be giving you some fun a$$ prompts! In addition, we've got some bomb prizes sure to up the ante and have you boning up on your Webster's Dictionary! But don't fret, we're not picking the most difficult words in the book. Your judging panel will consist of three local educators who can't wait to talk you through the Bee and make sure you're having a blast! Your registration includes the following: - ONE REGISTRATION FOR THE BEE - consider this your ticket to the competition - SPELLING SUSTENANCE - one donut of your choice to keep you carbo loaded for the contest - A BEVERAGE OF YOUR CHOICE - select a cocktail, zero proof, beer or coffee bevy that gets you locked in Of note: The Bee will start promptly at 6p so please be on-time and start thinking of your competitor name and BEE sure to invite you fam and pals to pack the room and cheer you on!
