Each 2nd Saturday will turn the yard into a hub of activity, with interactive booths, local vendors, food trucks, music, and hands-on fun for all ages. Programming is built around playful themes—giving the community an ongoing opportunity to test ideas, build connections, and help shape the future of this space. 2nd Saturdays take place from 4:00–8:00 PM on: June 14: Summer Kickoff (Place + Identity theme) – Help kick off the season! Add your mark to the space with collaborative painting and community-build projects, explore interactive installations, and take part in a celebration of Cleveland’s newest (temporary) lakefront backyard. July 12: Get Moving (Health + Wellness + Movement theme) – Get active on the blacktop with games, movement-based activities, and creative ways to move your body. Whether you want to jump in or just cheer from the sidelines, this is an evening of energizing fun for all ages. August 9: Make a Splash (Water + Nature theme) – Dive into the summer’s most refreshing theme with playful water activities, nature-inspired art, and experiences that connect us to the lake and local environment. (Yes, there will be splash-worthy fun.)
