Guests are cordially invited to MIX: Summer Soirée, an enchanting evening inspired by the elegance and romance of the Regency era as portrayed in the Netflix hit television series Bridgerton. The evening’s entertainment includes live music by one of Northeast Ohio’s most in-demand string ensembles, OPUS 216, performing arrangements of pop songs and Bridgerton-themed music for string quartet. Rebecca Sweet, co-owner and master instructor of Viva Dance Studio, leads a brief waltz dance lesson. DJ Sobe follows with an open format DJ set spinning pop, R&B, and more. At times, members of OPUS 216 perform with DJ Sobe. Learn about the Ohio Burlesque Festival LLC as its performers walk around the atrium in regal attire. Guests are encouraged to dress in glamorous Regency-era outfits that blend historic couture with modern fashion. Themed food and drink items, including cocktails, beer, and wine, are available to purchase from Bon Appétit. Attendees are also encouraged to visit the CMA’s special exhibition, Martin Puryear: Nexus, as well as the newly redesigned ArtLens gallery.
