After playing in the UK and Europe for so many years, we are finally getting out on the road in the good ol’ USA! This will be our first stateside tour in 15 years and we are really excited to get out there and share this music with our friends and fans here in America again. We will be doing songs from the original band’s catalog (1966-68)— Love, Da Capo, Forever Changes—as well as Four Sail (1969). I’ve been seeing new generations of fans who have gotten a hold of Forever Changes, so we do many songs from it. Local musicians always come out—they tell us they came to hear what that record sounds like live. It’s been an incredibly emotional experience to see, literally, three generations of fans at our shows! We really feel these US shows will be special. Opening each one is Baby Lemonade, the band that played with Arthur Lee from 1993 until his passing and still the band that plays with me. Arthur asked me to rejoin the group in 2002 and those guys couldn’t have been nicer. They are fantastic musicians and play Love’s music with passion and dedication. After so many years away, we are honored to play Cleveland again and can’t wait to rock the Beachland Tavern on April 30! Come join us for a good time!
