St. Clair, Ariel Vergez, Otelia Vergez and Gina Washington. The popular proverb, “home is where the heart is,“ is frequently used to express the sentiment that home is so much more than a physical location. Shown alongside Edra Soto’s exhibition "La Casa de Todos | Everyone’s Home," "La Casa Compartida" showcases a group of eleven artists and creatives from the Cleveland community who have known both the joy and the pain of migration. This exhibition reflects on personal identity and familial and chosen relationships within the household, featuring the faces of those who become witnesses to our lives and in turn, bring life to the places we hold dear to our hearts. El conocido proverbio “el hogar está donde está el corazón” se usa con frecuencia para expresar que el hogar es mucho más que un lugar físico. Se muestra junto con la exposición de Edra Soto, "La Casa Compartida" presenta a un grupo de once artistas y creativos reconocidos de la comunidad de Cleveland que han conocido tanto la alegría como el dolor de la migración. Esta exposición reflexiona sobre identidad personal las relaciones familiares y elegidas dentro del hogar, destacando los rostros de quienes se convierten en testigos de nuestras vidas y, a su vez, dan vida a los lugares que llevamos en el corazón.
