Join us on Tuesday, February 17 at 7:30 pm in Mixon Hall for an engaging evening of contemporary music featuring saxophonist Andrew Hosler as part of CIM’s Insiders series. This dynamic program highlights masterworks and new voices in the repertoire, including Pierre Boulez’s Dialogue de l’ombre double, Sami Seif’s ﻣﻌﺎﻧﻲ (Meanings), the world premiere of Jennifer Conner’s Ours to Lose, and John Mackey’s Soprano Sax Concerto. Hosler is joined by pianist Eric Charnofsky and electronics artist Dylan Findley, both Kulas Foundation Visiting Artists, for an evening that explores the expressive range and versatility of the saxophone. Admission is free; however, seating passes are required. The performance will also be available via livestream.
