The Bonfoey Gallery is pleased to announce, "In the Details," a group exhibition focusing on contemporary realist painting and drawing, on view from November 13 through December 30, 2025. The exhibition features the work of Jim Bandsuh, Amber Kempthorn, Anthony Mastromatteo, George Mauersberger, Frank Oriti, and Michael Zigmond. Guests are invited to join us for the opening reception on Thursday, November 13, from 4–7 PM, where they will have the opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments. Admission is free and open to all. "In the Details" highlights the remarkable precision, patience, and presence required of realist art today. In an era saturated with fleeting images, realism insists on slowing down, looking closely, and without distraction. This exhibition invites viewers to engage with the subtle textures, delicate shifts of light, and layered narratives that emerge only through attention to detail. In addition to the exhibition and opening reception, The Bonfoey Gallery will also host an artist panel discussion during the run of the show.
