Andre Myrie, a first-generation Jamaican-American comedian, is currently filming his third comedy special right here in Cleveland! Born and raised in the NY/NJ area, Andre has recently relocated to northeast Ohio, now calling Cleveland home. This rich and diverse upbringing has granted him a truly unique perspective, which he passionately shares through the art of comedy. His comedic style is straightforward; he uses observational truths delivered in a storytelling format. He considers this beautiful craft a gift and cherishes it deeply. Since moving to Cleveland, Andre has headlined and opened for numerous shows. He has also initiated a monthly event titled Wine Down Wednesday, demonstrating his dedication to nurturing the Cleveland comedy scene. Andre Myrie will be recording his third comedy special, Accountability Sucks, at Market Avenue Wine Bar on April 16th at 8 PM. This event aims to break boundaries, proving that comedy can thrive outside traditional venues, such as comedy clubs, and that a wine bar in a Cleveland neighborhood can host just as impactful performances with a live audience.
