Where Superman First Took Flight
Glenville is the birthplace of Superman! Jerry Siegal, age 18, created arguably the most infamous and celebrated superhero ever in his childhood home on Kimberly Avenue. The legendary writer’s home is preserved and well-kept with colorful porch flowers and the Superman emblem on its white picket fence.
